      • Try typing the first few characters of the place you're looking for and then choose from the list of predictions.
      • Check that your device is connected to the internet. Online searches often give more results than offline searches.
      • If you're searching for a place that's further away, make a more focused search request.
    • Why is the map on wego.here.com more up-to-date than the offline maps I use on HERE WeGo for iOS?

Since roads open and close, new buildings are built and the course of highways changes, we’re constantly updating HERE WeGo maps, often every few minutes. So as not to overwhelm you with a constant stream of updates, we add up all of the smaller changes and include them as part of the regular map updates that are released about four times a year for our mobile apps. However, any change to the map becomes live immediately on wego.here.com because it’s a website and not a mobile app. As a result, the maps are almost always going to be more recent than the ones you have on your phone or tablet.

    • Why are some addresses and places that I search for not found when I search offline?

One of the best things about HERE WeGo is that they’re designed to work offline. Some things work differently, though, depending on whether or not you have an internet connection. Searching is one of them. If you’re searching offline, you’ll generally find places that are closer to you and only ones on the maps you’ve saved on your phone. When you’re connected to the Internet, your search results can be much broader. So if you’re not finding what you’re looking for offline, you could switch the app online in the main menu and try searching again.

    • Why can’t I use your app to navigate by car in my country or region?

It’s very important to make sure that the maps we offer for car navigation are absolutely precise and accurate. For safety reasons, there are some places where we simply can’t offer a full navigation service. We’re always updating and improving the quality of our maps and want to bring reliable, safe driving navigation to as many places as possible.

    • Why is the route you’re giving me longer than the one I've been driving every day for the past 10 years?

When you decide on a route to drive, you take into account more than just streets. HERE apps and maps.here.com also do this, taking into account things like speed limits, types of roads, etc. So while HERE might not always suggest your preferred route, they’ll show you how to quickly and reliably drive from point A to point B. And if you choose to take a detour, the app will help make sure you still reach your destination.
